On December 15, 2025, the Cineteca di Bologna hosted the 10th edition of Storia&Storie. During the event, Rossella Catanese and Simone Venturini showcased the progress of AtlaSafe, presenting its core objectives and the development of the database.
Promoted by AIRSC (Italian Association for Cinema History Research) in collaboration with the “”History of Cinema”” and “”Archives”” groups of the CUC (University Cinema Council), this event serves as a vital forum for the scientific and professional community in the field.
The afternoon session was dedicated to the presentation of archives and databases developed within prestigious national and international research projects. Among these, a prominent place was given to the SAFE project (The Sustainability of Italian Film Heritage: Archival Infrastructures, Digital Preservation, Stewardship Strategies).
